Make sure that you have at least 12MB free harddisk space. Download Pioneer or Pioneer Pro. (CP11.EXE or CPP11.EXE) The .EXE file is a self extracting installation. It runs Setup, and deletes all temporary files afterwards. That's it!
If you have problems with the self-installing version, or need to download the program in smaller sections, you can download the self-extracting disk versions. These are the files CP11-1.EXE through CP11-5.EXE for Pioneer, and CPP11-1.EXE through CPP11-6.EXE for Pioneer PRO. Download these files into a temporary directory. From DOS, run each of these files. They will extract, creating the installation files. Go into Windows and run the SETUP.EXE file in the temporary directory. After installation, you may remove the temporary directory. Example: (From DOS) C:\> MD tempdir C:\> cd tempdir C:\TEMPDIR> \cp11-1.exe C:\TEMPDIR> \cp11-2.exe etc. (From Windows) In the Program Manager's "File" menu, choose "Run...". In the Command Line box, type "C:\tempdir\setup.exe" Click on "OK" and the installation should start! If you are running Windows 3.1 you will need ole32s.zip to get rid of a non-critical error message at Pioneer startup. Download ole32s.zip and extract with "pkunzip -d ole32s.zip" into a temporary directory. Run the setup.exe program located in the DISK1 subdirectory.
